TECHNICAL HANDOVER OF APARTMENT - HOW TO ACCEPT THE FLOOR? (handover of the apartment from the developer)

Concrete floors, known as screeds, which is the "floor" we will find in our newly purchased apartment, are accepted according to the standard PN-B-10144:1962 - Concrete and cement mortar floors -- Requirements and technical tests upon acceptance.
Screed - how to measure the flatness of a concrete floor?
We check with a 2m long straightedge – for example, like the one in photo no. 1,
we place it at any location and direction on the substrate and...
we check the width of the gap between the straightedge and the concrete.
The maximum gap size according to the standard is 5mm. Anything exceeding this can be confidently noted as a defect that needs correction.
A wedge gap gauge can be helpful; if we don't have one, we can also use a tape measure or even a ruler.

Additional requirements for the concrete floor (screed)
Additionally, the floor should be:
clean
cracks and defects are not allowed
it should have peripheral expansion joints (separation, usually with special foam – no. 3 in the photo, from the walls)
it should have shrinkage joints (special cuts in the screed, distinguishable from cracks because they will be even – no. 4 in the photo)

We do not press the straightedge against one of the ends to demonstrate a greater deviation – the straightedge should rest freely on the floor (it happens that even some inspectors checked the floor this way during the acceptance of the apartment...)
