How to assess the plaster during the technical acceptance of an apartment from the developer? (accepting the apartment from the developer)
What is the standard for plastering(handover of the apartment from the developer)
Plastering, which is the finishing of the interior walls in our newly purchased apartment, is accepted according to the standard PN-B-10110:2005 - Gypsum plasters made mechanically -- Rules for execution and technical requirements.

Plaster surfaces
We check them with a 2m long straightedge – for example, like in photo no. 1,
we apply the straightedge horizontally or vertically (or diagonally) and...
check the width of the gap.
The maximum gap size according to the standard is 5mm.
A wedge gap gauge can be helpful, if we don't have one, we can also use a measuring tape or even a ruler.
It is also worth checking the surface around door openings to avoid problems with door installation later.
Angles
We check them with a 1m long angle ruler – for example, like in photo no. 2,
we apply the angle ruler horizontally,
pressing one side against one wall,
and check the width of the gap that forms on the other wall.
The maximum gap size according to the standard is 4mm.
Additional requirements
Additionally, the plaster should have:
a smooth surface with a "natural degree of roughness"
a uniform color
a dilatation cut at the junction with another material.
